Elder Jones

Its been another great week here in Maxcanù me and my comp have been working hard and having a bit of success. Today we went to Oxkintok again that was pretty fun and when we were walking to the internet cafe we ran into a group of drunk guys and as we were walking by one of them said "Its an American, I`m gonna kill him and Donald Trump" So i went back and shook his hand and said "Whats up Brother, when are we gonna get you to church" Then he said " Do they have beer there?" haha super goofy here in maxcanù but I`m loving it. My Companion is super super Goofy but it is kinda fun cause the days go by fast. We have been teaching a few new people and one Alonzo is the husband of one of our investigators we finally got him to listen to one of the lessons and so we taught him about the restoration of the church and the book of mormon. We got transfer calls on saturday and they told me they`d be sending me elder Cuz from Guatemala and hes got 19 months in the mission! They moved me to senior comp and Ill be running the Area! Had to say goodbye to Elder Flores from El Salvador! We have a lot of work to do this transfer and were hoping to have a lot of success! We also ended up changing our district and were a bunch of new missionaries and we have a lot of fun things planned! Yesterday was pretty insane I got to confirm someone for the first time and it was so cool I could feel the spirit so strong! We finished confirming everyone that we had baptized throughout the transfer hopefully that never happens again. Then they asked me to speak out of the blue haha so I winged it and I probably spoke a lot longer than I did for my farewell and without any notes about the restoration. I know you´d never think I´d be playing baseball but friday night you already know I was hitting them deep haha!!!! Sorry i wasnt able to write last week we went to uxmaul hopefully ill be able to send some photos! The last few weeks have been really good we have had a few baptisms were teaching a few new people the work keeps rolling here in maxcanú! Im loving it here although the food isnt very good to be honest haha. Weve been looking for new people this week and monday after getting back from uxmaul we had an appointment with a family we greeted the door a few times no one answered as we were about to leave the answered the door and invited us in to eat hamburgers! They were actually really good and we taught them the first lesson and were all really interested. They're really busy with work and their family but we hope to be able to teach them on wednesday!
