Elder Jones

Another great week here in progreso we had another opportunity to baptize this week but this time it was 3 investigators. They were all a little nervous to be baptized but after they were all so happy. We have been working with them and I have truly seen such a big difference in their lives. First their family is more united they had been having problems as a family but as we have been teaching them I truly have seen how much their family has grown together. Another they have started to realize god so much more in their lives and this has helped to grow their testimonies so much. We all had the opportunity to fell the spirit so strong on sunday (the baptism) it was amazing! After the baptism we had the normal hours of church and they were all confirmed and after the sacrament there was the primary program. It truly was such an amazing day. This week was really awesome we had the opportunity to baptize an investigator that we have been teaching for about 2 months. Rafael I had always heard that satan works really hard to cause problems for baptism and I have seen that for myself. We went to the church at 8 oclock to fill up the font for the baptism and after about 20 min it stopped filling. We tried to fix the problems called the zone leaders, president of the branch, various members of the branch but no one was available. We ended up deciding to go to a members house a ways away and fill up buckets of water and bring them back. We ended up taking more than 40 buckets and I believe was more than like 5 miles with water and 5 without. Was really hard but after one of the trips I was like we aren`t going to fill it in time for the baptism, so I said a quick little prayer for help and when we went back it was almost full and the faucet fixed it self. This week was awesome we had so many miracles. First one was when we finished emailing last week we went to an investigator families home to try and put a date for baptism and help them prepare. They ended up rejecting but one of the members saw one of our blessings that we had for someone in the church and asked for one and said she had been having problems with her knees. So we gave her a blessing and imediately after she was fine and we could tell because before she kind of walked weird and now she is totally fine. This led to another miracle we ended up teaching them again and she had a question from one of the pamplets that we gave her and instead of waiting she started to read the book of mormon to try and find the answer and found it. 3 Months officially. Its crazy how fast the time flies in the mission everyday feels like just a few hours. I can just about understand everyone sometimes I think theyre speaking English because I understand so much. Thanks for all your prayers I know I wouldn`t be learning this fast without the help of you all and please continue to pray for me!  This week we had Halloween and Dia De Los Muertos we didn`t really get to do anything for either of them haha but it was kinda crazy I didn`t even realize that it was halloween until the day after haha. This week we have been working and making a lot of progress with 5 investigators. We have been praying for this family to have a spiritual experience so they would have a bigger interest in learning more.
