Elder Jones

Don´t have much time but This week was amazing. Elder Leal and I had so much success we´re working hard all day and we have had so many miricales because of it. Today we got to play soccer and it was a ton of fun. We played latinos vs americans and I had 3 of our 6 goals and we tied them it was awesome with the our zone. Don´t have much time so I´ll get to the stories. The first miricale I was reading in alma about the zoramites and how some were forced to be humble because they didn´t have any money and the zoramites kicked them out of the city and that same day we found this girl who was blind and forced to be humble because of it. She was so excited to hear our message and we prayed for her and by the end she was crying and it was sooo sweet. we set an appointment to meet again and she said she was going to invite all of her family and freinds when we come. This has been another great week we`ve been working crazy hard all day everyday. My companion said he`s never worked this hard before. He`s starting to get tired haha but its all good we work so much. I wanna keep this short but my comp has been in progreso for 6 months so he knows all of the city really well so we´ve been going out side of the city a lot which has been awesome we have tons of success out there. Really cool experience this week we just got off the bus to this area and it was right at this house so my comp was like where do you wanna go I was like straight and so we went straight like 10 steps later I was like nah lets go to that house so we went there greeted the guy at the door he let us in he was really nice he is in school to be a doctor of some sort but we taught him the first lesson and committed him to baptism it was so awesome.   First thing If anyone is trying to send me something on google hangouts email me first so I can add you because my email has crazy restrictions haha. Its mexico´s independence day here so things are crazy its been another great week. We had a multi zone confrence tuesday and they showed us our numbers and all of our numbers were really good except our new investigators and last week I think we had like 3 new investigators the goal was 1 a day but the president changed it to 2 a day and 1 on pday. This was a crazy big jump but they also changed how we would teach so just when I had about figured out how to do a contact they changed it. But its a lot better and the numbers show. They want us to start our contacts not by giving out cards but by teaching with the book of mormon. This was perfect because this way I didn´t have to come up with the words just use the works of the book of mormon. Holy crap this week has been awesome we have been working so much so hard. Me and my companion have only had two problems haha one is that we both love to work long and hard that im pretty sure I sprained my ankle haha its giant. Also he doesn´t speak any english but is trying to learn and I can understand his spanish better than his english hahahah. I have so much to say but I don`t know where to start so I`ll just start day by day. Tuesday Right after I sent my big email we went to go eat at a less active members house and the food was actually pretty good we had some chicken rice and beans. We went street contacting for the first time and we were just getting rejected left and right. Nobody wanted the gospel then we saw this homeless guy and I was like ohh he`ll accept it for sure.   We left for the field yesterday at 2 am it I ate some subway at the airport and it was the best thing I have ever had. It was so good to not be eating food at the mtc haha. It was insanely good iv´e never liked subway as much as I did then. We were sitting there waiting to board our plane and about 10 min before we were supposed to get on this lady comes and sits by us and was confused because of all the missionary tags. So me and these two elders were like we gotta talk to this girl. So we just started talking to her and she was from merida and was telling us all about it. Then I was like were missionaries of the church of jesus christ and asked her if she knew what the book of mormon was and she didn´t so we shared with her 2 Nephi 25:26 which is basically what we believe. Then asked her if she wanted the book of mormon and she said no then we asked her if she´d rather download the app and she wanted to so I would say it was a pretty successful first lesson.
