Elder Jones

6 months downnn!!!!! I finished 6 months this week. This week has been full of ups and downs but im still loving it!  To start with the good news:  1. We were tracting on thursday night for a good couple of hours and in the morning i remember praying that we would find someone new that was prepared for us. At 8:30 it came to my mind that we still haven't found anyone and at the last house we finally found an interested person. He told us he had been waiting for someone to come find him and help him find peace in his life. Hes wants to make a change for the good in his life so he can have peace and comfort and what better way to do that than through jesus christ. He ended up coming to the baptism on saturday and church sunday. I know the lord prepared him for us and i cant wait to keep teaching him! 2: we had another baptism two who got married monday so they could be baptized saturday super awesome. 3: we have another one planned for this week! 4: we went to oxkintok if you do...

Well sorry I didn´t write last week I was doing service but i´m here to tell you that everything is going good. Some things to know about maxcanú is there are a lotttttt of dogs! haha but it is super dope here its a branch of about 40 active members and every ward has problems but every branch has a lot more haha. The first week I was here we had 2 people on date for baptism and over that last 2 weeks we have put another 7 on date and of the new 7, 6 went to church yesterday. The members are helping us out a ton and yesterday we had 60 in church and 8 of the 60 were investigators. Super awesome we had like 2 rows with just us and investigators haha. We got 2 investigators married today so they can get baptized on saturday and we are hoping to baptize every week until the 15. My companion Elder Flores is pretty dope but hes been having a few health issues so ive been helping him out a lot. Good afternoon everybody I hope everyone is doing good and ready to start off the new year. So this last week we got transfer calls and I got sent to Maxcanù don`t worry if you don`t know where that is I didn`t either but basically its a little town and theres no more ocean haha. I was super sad to leave all the people behind especially the recent converts. I went to pass by rafael to tell him the news and he was so sad to see that I was going he almost cried and when he almost cried I almost cried. It was so sad to say goodbye then I went to the convert family and they were all sad and had been going through some hard times and when I said I was leaving it didn`t help them much but I shared with them endure to the end because when times get tough you gotta keep pushing forwards. I hope all is well but I`m so pumped to start here in maxcanù! My companions name is Elder Flores from el salvador he`s seems pretty awesome but who knows I met him like 6 hours ag...
