another week in the clink

This week has been good but it seems more and more like a prison every week haha. Someone got Influenza not sure if i spelt that right but these computers are in spanish so everything is wrong on here but anyway someone got influenza really bad and it has been spreading like crazy and everyone just prays they dont get it. Everyweek it´s something new I feel like luckly I haven´t got anything yet. (knock on wood) There's only so much you can do which I guess is kind of good cause it gives me more motivation to work cause I can't go do anything else haha. My comp has lost a lot of motivation to work so I'm mainly just working on my own and my spanish is getting way better. We got native companions for a day and I was able to understand about 90 percent what he said which was really good and my spanish got a lot better that day. My companion hasn't been working that hard cause his gf hasn't been emailing him so he's been depressed all week and his spanish is not good at all because he doesn't use it which is good for me because when we teach lessons I do about 75 percent of the work and my spanish gets better because of it. Earlier this week me and him taught this member from mexico city so it was actually what it would be like teaching a member in the field and she talk crazy fast but I could still understand and my companion said he couldn't understand a word so I taught the whole lesson and it actually went really good and I guess she was grading us and gave us a really good report. I started over reading my scriptures this week so I was reading in 1st nephi and 2nd nephi and she wanted to learn more about faith which faith is all nephi is about so it worked perfect I shared her two scriptures I really liked from reading this week and she loved them. (1 nephi 3:7 and 1st Nephi 17 somewhere I can´t find it rn but its about how if the lord commanded nephi to do anything he could do it) She was telling me how she loved those scriptures and how one of them was her sons favorite. We had a really good devotional this sunday from our mtc president and one part really stuck out to me was to pray to see what We could be doing better while we were here in the mtc and he promised us we´d get an answer if we would do it sincerely so I had been praying and on tuesday I got an answer better than I ever have before which was to be more unified with my companion which is really hard because some of the stuff he does I think hes joking but hes dead serious and it can be really hard at times, and he must´ve skipped the hygene portion of his school or they never taugh him it because it gets really bad haha but I really made an effort to be more unified. We have also been teaching fake investigators and we have been preparing a lot for our lessons and I´ve been trying to be more unified and although my spanish isn´t perfect he said our lessons we were teaching were how our lessons should be in the field and he felt the spirit really strong. I asked him if there was anything we could work on and he said nothing he could think of just to have our lessons how they were that day all the time. My comps been getting really sad because he´s falling behind in learning spanish and I keep trying to tell him he´s not working hard and it has not been a good week for him but I´m always trying to help him he just doesn´t work very hard and thinks hes gonna wake up some day and know spanish or something idk what hes thinking. Other than that the week has gone by really fast and it´s been really good nothing really interesting.
