Half the Mtc died monday

 It's been crazy here in the MTC Elder Guerisoli got here on tuesday and it was so nice to see him. Were really busy all the time so I don't see him a whole lot but he seems to be doing really good. I've been just studying spanish all the time we have about 14 hours of class all day and when we have free time we are studying. 


So sunday night we had these burritos and they were so good and everyone was just eating a ton of them which came back to haunt us. I woke up that morning as usual at 6:30 and my companion had been on the toilet since 6 and he didn't end up getting out until 7:30 it was terrible. Luckily I showered that night because the other two elders in our room that didn't had to go shower while my companion was on the toilet making the craziest noises haha it was bad. Half of the district got sick too haha we think they used the leftover meat from the rest of the week. We went to the doctor to see if they could do anything for him and there was a line and everyone had the same issue. We walked in and everyone there just asked "Taco night?" The entire day all the bathrooms were all filled it was bad but luckily The burritos didn't get me.

Weve been teaching fake investigators in spanish and I'm getting pretty good of course it's nothing like the real thing but my teacher said im making tons of improvements my companion on the other hand is really struggling to figure this whole spanish thing out haha. I feel bad but theres not a whole lot I can do to help him. Sunday was fast sunday and we fasted for 24 hours and it was torture hah but I had a purpose and it was amazing I felt the spirit so much the whole day it was great. I also noticed all the answers I got to my prayers too it was awesome. 

Today was awesome the reason I'm sending this so late is because we went to the temple today. I want to send pictures but the computer labs are full and I can't sit around and wait all day but im gonna try and go back before its too late. The temple is huge and its all on hydrolics so it isn't affected by earthquakes. We did the entire thing in spanish and it was kind of weird. The days are going by fast and every day is better than the day before. Love you all and miss you all Thanks for all the emails!!

bought a new tie in the zarahemla store im wearing it in the pictures, and I forgot to mention i sleep on the bottom bunk and our beds are tiny so I always hit my head on the top of the bed haha.

finally my first pday

I don´t even know where to start haha. I got off the plane last tuesday with about 30 other missionaries, and half of them were going to my mission. We took a bus to the mtc and I got to know everyone going to my district and I liked most of them but there was one kid who I didn't want to have as a companion because we had nothing in common. I like to play sports he liked to read books, I like to be outside, he likes to read books haha. But of course we got assigned to be companions and I had kind of a bad attitude about it for my first 2 days and those were the longest two days ive ever had. I prayed that I could come to love my companion and that day we listened to a talk by elder gong and he was talking about the importance of having a good relationship with your companion. He said to stop focusing on the things you didn't like about your companion and to focus on the things your companion was good at and since then its been great. It is great to be back

How is everyone doing? I know it's been a while but for all of those who didn't know I have been reassigned from merida mexico, to independence Missouri! I have 2 new companions (so were in a trio) and we are in the blue springs area (Kansas city)! It has been pretty different teaching over the phone and in english but it is still awesome! We have been teaching a lot of members and looking for a lot of new investigators, we have just been making phone call after phone call and looking for people to teach through Facebook! It has been super awesome and I have been able to find a few spanish speakers that seem pretty interested. Missouri is so pretty everything is so green and there's grass and lakes everywhere! Were right by the Missouri river too and that's pretty huge haha. My new companions are Elder Clements and Elder Thiriot and there both pretty awesome! The work keeps rolling

How is everyone doing? Hope good, everything is going good here in maxcanú were working hard and finding new people to teach! We have quite a bit of people progressing were hoping to baptize a few more here in Maxcanú. We have a baptism coming up this week for saul! I was talking to him and hes going to turn 17 this week and I asked him what are you gonna do when you turn 18 and he told me he wants to go on the mission. I was super pumped haha because he still hasn't even been baptized yet super awesome. We also had a multizone and I got to see some of the elders in Progreso my old area and they told me that the converts are starting to work hard with the missionaries and help them get more people to teach and progress. I was super excited to here that! We are also teaching this new investigator and her dad and sister were baptized 20 years ago but she never accepted the gospel.
