Last week in the mtc

This week has been awesome we heard some great talks by the Director of the mtc not the president hah His voice was exactly like elder Ucdorfs definitely didn't spell that right but if we closed our eyes he sounded exactly like him. We called him Latino Ucdorf haha it was really good. We have had a few days called promix we basically join a Latino district where they only speak Spanish but it was so fun and I loved all the Latinos. I don't have all the pictures with them but Ill send a few It was kind of sad they all left this Monday but that will be me next week.I leave Monday at 2 am I'm super exited It'll basically be a full week cause I'll get the the field at 8 am on Monday. This week we've just continued to work hard trying to pick up on the language it's been pretty good sometimes I'll write stuff on my email in Spanish and then I have to go back and change it to English so you'll understand its kind of funny. Last Friday the funniest thing happened there is this elder who will do literally anything haha. So I have this big Gatorade bottle I was drinking out of and I had like a third left and it was a 1 liter bottle. I go and fill it up and he was like bet you I can drink the whole thing and he already drank another one earlier. But I was like whatever go ahead he gets all the way to the end and struggles to finish but does so hes at like 2.3 liters at this point. I go fill it up again and say 50 bucks if you can drink another and he wasn't sure if he could do it then another kid said i'll give you 50 too. He decides to do it and so I'm pouring it in his mouth slowly and we get like a third of the way down the bottle and he is just looking sick so I was like do you wanna keep going and he did so I kept going. Then he got about half way and he was looking terrible so I stopped and he was like what the heck keep going. So I kept going and I thought there was no way he could finish it but he just kept going and at this point his eyes are just like rolling back and he had like almost none left I thought for sure my money was gone then he fall to the ground and throws up straight water. He throws up like 2 or 3 times and we were all just dying of laughter it was so funny. He had like a little cups worth left and he didn't wanna finish because he hated water after that. He said he woke up like 5 times that night to go to the bathroom it was so funny and I got to keep my money. We've been teaching our investigators in spanish still and its really hard sometimes but its starting to get really good and easier to speak. Our spanish teachers never correct us so either they're really nice and don't want to correct us or we're speaking good spanish but my comp hates spanish so I do most of the teaching. I love it though.



This was our Latino District they're awesome. We all have so much fun together.



His name is Elder hernandez he was really shy at first but he works insanely hard and he has the highest pitch voice I've ever heard and he talks crazy fast but he's awesome.

I forgot to share my favorite scripture from the week it was Mosiah chapter 2:34 it says " 34 I say unto you, that there are not any among you, except it be your little children that have not been taught concerning these things, but what knoweth that ye are eternally aindebted to your heavenly Father, to render to him ball that you have and are; and also have been taught concerning the crecordswhich contain the prophecies which have been spoken by the holy prophets, even down to the time our father, Lehi, left Jerusalem" I really liked this Scripture because it reminded me why we serve missions because we´re indebted to our heavenly father. I also reminded me that I am on the lords time and that I need to work my hardest for the next two years.
