Week of Miracles

Don´t have much time but This week was amazing. Elder Leal and I had so much success we´re working hard all day and we have had so many miricales because of it. Today we got to play soccer and it was a ton of fun. We played latinos vs americans and I had 3 of our 6 goals and we tied them it was awesome with the our zone. Don´t have much time so I´ll get to the stories. The first miricale I was reading in alma about the zoramites and how some were forced to be humble because they didn´t have any money and the zoramites kicked them out of the city and that same day we found this girl who was blind and forced to be humble because of it. She was so excited to hear our message and we prayed for her and by the end she was crying and it was sooo sweet. we set an appointment to meet again and she said she was going to invite all of her family and freinds when we come. The second miricale was we found this family who was having problems with thier baby it had been sick for a while and was 3 months old so we offered to say a prayer for the baby and my companion offered the prayer and we shared a little about the plan of salvation and set an appointment to come back and we came back and the entire family was there and the baby was perfectly fine. We taught them the plan of salvation in total and they were really interested and the whole family of 4 came to church the next day and we were able to teach them about the restoration too. Last miricale we were contacting a street and litteraly no one was interested at all they wouldn´t even say come back later it was crazy the whole street and I had a little thought come in to my head just be happy and smile so thats what I did I went to the next house started talking to this guy and he was super interested. We ended up teaching him the plan of salvation and set an appointment to come back and he was really interested in our message and we asked him why did he want to hear our message and he said to me I can tell this american boy is trying to learn spanish but when he was talking I could tell it was from the heart and while he was talking I could feel something I´ve never felt before and i´ve been waiting for your message for 40 years. I was so happy to hear this because before this I thought that I was only teaching to practice my spanish and it wasn´t helping a whole lot but he was so exited that when we asked him if he would be baptized he said yes I wan´t to be baptized and I´ll do whatever it takes to prepare. We have had a lot of great experiences and this week we had 20 new investigators we have had so much success can´t wait for the next week cause every week is better and better. I´m learning tons of spanish and im to the point where I can explain not perfect but explain anything i need too and I have been blessed so much by your prayers thank you all so much.

finally my first pday

I don´t even know where to start haha. I got off the plane last tuesday with about 30 other missionaries, and half of them were going to my mission. We took a bus to the mtc and I got to know everyone going to my district and I liked most of them but there was one kid who I didn't want to have as a companion because we had nothing in common. I like to play sports he liked to read books, I like to be outside, he likes to read books haha. But of course we got assigned to be companions and I had kind of a bad attitude about it for my first 2 days and those were the longest two days ive ever had. I prayed that I could come to love my companion and that day we listened to a talk by elder gong and he was talking about the importance of having a good relationship with your companion. He said to stop focusing on the things you didn't like about your companion and to focus on the things your companion was good at and since then its been great. It is great to be back

How is everyone doing? I know it's been a while but for all of those who didn't know I have been reassigned from merida mexico, to independence Missouri! I have 2 new companions (so were in a trio) and we are in the blue springs area (Kansas city)! It has been pretty different teaching over the phone and in english but it is still awesome! We have been teaching a lot of members and looking for a lot of new investigators, we have just been making phone call after phone call and looking for people to teach through Facebook! It has been super awesome and I have been able to find a few spanish speakers that seem pretty interested. Missouri is so pretty everything is so green and there's grass and lakes everywhere! Were right by the Missouri river too and that's pretty huge haha. My new companions are Elder Clements and Elder Thiriot and there both pretty awesome! The work keeps rolling

How is everyone doing? Hope good, everything is going good here in maxcanú were working hard and finding new people to teach! We have quite a bit of people progressing were hoping to baptize a few more here in Maxcanú. We have a baptism coming up this week for saul! I was talking to him and hes going to turn 17 this week and I asked him what are you gonna do when you turn 18 and he told me he wants to go on the mission. I was super pumped haha because he still hasn't even been baptized yet super awesome. We also had a multizone and I got to see some of the elders in Progreso my old area and they told me that the converts are starting to work hard with the missionaries and help them get more people to teach and progress. I was super excited to here that! We are also teaching this new investigator and her dad and sister were baptized 20 years ago but she never accepted the gospel.
