New Comp, More Baptisms

Another great week here in progreso we had another opportunity to baptize this week but this time it was 3 investigators. They were all a little nervous to be baptized but after they were all so happy. We have been working with them and I have truly seen such a big difference in their lives. First their family is more united they had been having problems as a family but as we have been teaching them I truly have seen how much their family has grown together. Another they have started to realize god so much more in their lives and this has helped to grow their testimonies so much. We all had the opportunity to fell the spirit so strong on sunday (the baptism) it was amazing! After the baptism we had the normal hours of church and they were all confirmed and after the sacrament there was the primary program. It truly was such an amazing day. It was also the last day in the area for my companion.   We had the chance to work with a member about half the day saturday, when he started he was really nervous he reminded me of me my first day but with time he became more confident and he shared his testimony with the family that we baptized and this helped them so much to see how much the gospel has blessed this young kids life. I have a new companion Elder Tlachi, he has 23 months in the mission so this is his last transfer but it won`t be a full transfer so I`ll only be with him for a few weeks. I have only been with my companion elder Tlachi for a little bit but he is so awesome and has so much experience. I`m going to learn a ton from him this transfer and I`m super excited!  


This week is thanksgiving we all need to remember the blessing we have in our lives and especially because of the gospel. We always need to ´´Count your many blessings, name them one by one`` As we do this we will come to see many blessings in our lives and receive many more. I want to challenge all of you to ponder on all the things your grateful for and always mention these things in your prayers.

finally my first pday

I don´t even know where to start haha. I got off the plane last tuesday with about 30 other missionaries, and half of them were going to my mission. We took a bus to the mtc and I got to know everyone going to my district and I liked most of them but there was one kid who I didn't want to have as a companion because we had nothing in common. I like to play sports he liked to read books, I like to be outside, he likes to read books haha. But of course we got assigned to be companions and I had kind of a bad attitude about it for my first 2 days and those were the longest two days ive ever had. I prayed that I could come to love my companion and that day we listened to a talk by elder gong and he was talking about the importance of having a good relationship with your companion. He said to stop focusing on the things you didn't like about your companion and to focus on the things your companion was good at and since then its been great. It is great to be back

How is everyone doing? I know it's been a while but for all of those who didn't know I have been reassigned from merida mexico, to independence Missouri! I have 2 new companions (so were in a trio) and we are in the blue springs area (Kansas city)! It has been pretty different teaching over the phone and in english but it is still awesome! We have been teaching a lot of members and looking for a lot of new investigators, we have just been making phone call after phone call and looking for people to teach through Facebook! It has been super awesome and I have been able to find a few spanish speakers that seem pretty interested. Missouri is so pretty everything is so green and there's grass and lakes everywhere! Were right by the Missouri river too and that's pretty huge haha. My new companions are Elder Clements and Elder Thiriot and there both pretty awesome! The work keeps rolling

How is everyone doing? Hope good, everything is going good here in maxcanú were working hard and finding new people to teach! We have quite a bit of people progressing were hoping to baptize a few more here in Maxcanú. We have a baptism coming up this week for saul! I was talking to him and hes going to turn 17 this week and I asked him what are you gonna do when you turn 18 and he told me he wants to go on the mission. I was super pumped haha because he still hasn't even been baptized yet super awesome. We also had a multizone and I got to see some of the elders in Progreso my old area and they told me that the converts are starting to work hard with the missionaries and help them get more people to teach and progress. I was super excited to here that! We are also teaching this new investigator and her dad and sister were baptized 20 years ago but she never accepted the gospel.
