3 months!

3 Months officially. Its crazy how fast the time flies in the mission everyday feels like just a few hours. I can just about understand everyone sometimes I think theyre speaking English because I understand so much. Thanks for all your prayers I know I wouldn`t be learning this fast without the help of you all and please continue to pray for me! 


This week we had Halloween and Dia De Los Muertos we didn`t really get to do anything for either of them haha but it was kinda crazy I didn`t even realize that it was halloween until the day after haha. This week we have been working and making a lot of progress with 5 investigators. We have been praying for this family to have a spiritual experience so they would have a bigger interest in learning more. As I was explaining the feelings of the spirit and how I feel the spirit the whole family (that had been to church) shared a weird experience they had at the church. One said that they had just felt like all the weight was taken off their shoulders and that they felt so much peace in their life. The other felt really happy and lots of peace too. The other said that she had a weird feeling whenever we walked in the room and we were able to tell them that this was the spirit. They want to get baptized now and I know that its all because of the prayers that we have for them. Because without these prayers they wouldn`t be having such great experience. 

Another Investigator we have been working with has been wanting to be baptized for the past month now but he can`t walk very well so its hard for him to go to church when we cant take him. He had also been struggling to pray correctly haha. We shared how to pray with him for no joke 30 min one time and he still did it wrong haha. But we prayed for him and that he would be able to learn how to pray and we helped him a little more and he had a prayer correct for the first time and after we asked him how he felt and he had the biggest smile on his face and said "I`m so happy" The blessings of prayer are so great because when we take time to sincerely talk to our heavenly father we receive such great blessings. I was talking to an investigator that we have been teaching and she shared with us how she knew the church was true because she has seen how much it has blessed me especially with my spanish. She talked about how my first week speaking spanish how bad it was haha and how I had improved so much so fast and how this testifies how the lord blesses us when we have faith.

finally my first pday

I don´t even know where to start haha. I got off the plane last tuesday with about 30 other missionaries, and half of them were going to my mission. We took a bus to the mtc and I got to know everyone going to my district and I liked most of them but there was one kid who I didn't want to have as a companion because we had nothing in common. I like to play sports he liked to read books, I like to be outside, he likes to read books haha. But of course we got assigned to be companions and I had kind of a bad attitude about it for my first 2 days and those were the longest two days ive ever had. I prayed that I could come to love my companion and that day we listened to a talk by elder gong and he was talking about the importance of having a good relationship with your companion. He said to stop focusing on the things you didn't like about your companion and to focus on the things your companion was good at and since then its been great. It is great to be back

How is everyone doing? I know it's been a while but for all of those who didn't know I have been reassigned from merida mexico, to independence Missouri! I have 2 new companions (so were in a trio) and we are in the blue springs area (Kansas city)! It has been pretty different teaching over the phone and in english but it is still awesome! We have been teaching a lot of members and looking for a lot of new investigators, we have just been making phone call after phone call and looking for people to teach through Facebook! It has been super awesome and I have been able to find a few spanish speakers that seem pretty interested. Missouri is so pretty everything is so green and there's grass and lakes everywhere! Were right by the Missouri river too and that's pretty huge haha. My new companions are Elder Clements and Elder Thiriot and there both pretty awesome! The work keeps rolling

How is everyone doing? Hope good, everything is going good here in maxcanú were working hard and finding new people to teach! We have quite a bit of people progressing were hoping to baptize a few more here in Maxcanú. We have a baptism coming up this week for saul! I was talking to him and hes going to turn 17 this week and I asked him what are you gonna do when you turn 18 and he told me he wants to go on the mission. I was super pumped haha because he still hasn't even been baptized yet super awesome. We also had a multizone and I got to see some of the elders in Progreso my old area and they told me that the converts are starting to work hard with the missionaries and help them get more people to teach and progress. I was super excited to here that! We are also teaching this new investigator and her dad and sister were baptized 20 years ago but she never accepted the gospel.
