Same area new comp (again haha)

Sorry I couldn`t write last week but i was really busy and they cut our pday in half and it was my comps last week. But we have had such a good two weeks. I got rid of my old companion and got a new one elder Kapua hes really good he was a secretary before and he likes to work a lot. He`s also my first american comp so thats been nice. We have been teaching and finding a ton of potential investigators which has been so awesome and there starting to progress we also brought a bunch of people to church which was so awesome to see so many people come to church we just need to help them progress. Remember a while back when I talked about a doctor guy that we had been working with. We went back to see if we could visit him and we found him and he wanted to talk to us. I was really surprised but he told us he prayed about the book of mormon and that he received an answer that he needed to do something about it I was so happy and were planning on getting him to church. This less active brought his girlfriend to church last week which was super awesome and they wanted us to come visit them so we went after church and looked for an hour and a half to find them and didn`t find a clue haha. But yesterday I felt like we should go look again and We went back and we were visiting some old investigators when this less active guy found us in the street then we taught them the first lesson and they were so happy to see that we didn`t just bail on them and came back to look. It was a miracle that we found them and I was so happy. It just goes to show we should always be diligent in the things we do. If we had given up we never would have found these people who want to progress and wouldn`t have been able to help them progress just like Nephi they went to get the plates and didn`t actually get them until the third try had they given up they never would have gotten the plates from laban. Thats about all I got don`t have to much time.

finally my first pday

I don´t even know where to start haha. I got off the plane last tuesday with about 30 other missionaries, and half of them were going to my mission. We took a bus to the mtc and I got to know everyone going to my district and I liked most of them but there was one kid who I didn't want to have as a companion because we had nothing in common. I like to play sports he liked to read books, I like to be outside, he likes to read books haha. But of course we got assigned to be companions and I had kind of a bad attitude about it for my first 2 days and those were the longest two days ive ever had. I prayed that I could come to love my companion and that day we listened to a talk by elder gong and he was talking about the importance of having a good relationship with your companion. He said to stop focusing on the things you didn't like about your companion and to focus on the things your companion was good at and since then its been great. It is great to be back

How is everyone doing? I know it's been a while but for all of those who didn't know I have been reassigned from merida mexico, to independence Missouri! I have 2 new companions (so were in a trio) and we are in the blue springs area (Kansas city)! It has been pretty different teaching over the phone and in english but it is still awesome! We have been teaching a lot of members and looking for a lot of new investigators, we have just been making phone call after phone call and looking for people to teach through Facebook! It has been super awesome and I have been able to find a few spanish speakers that seem pretty interested. Missouri is so pretty everything is so green and there's grass and lakes everywhere! Were right by the Missouri river too and that's pretty huge haha. My new companions are Elder Clements and Elder Thiriot and there both pretty awesome! The work keeps rolling

How is everyone doing? Hope good, everything is going good here in maxcanú were working hard and finding new people to teach! We have quite a bit of people progressing were hoping to baptize a few more here in Maxcanú. We have a baptism coming up this week for saul! I was talking to him and hes going to turn 17 this week and I asked him what are you gonna do when you turn 18 and he told me he wants to go on the mission. I was super pumped haha because he still hasn't even been baptized yet super awesome. We also had a multizone and I got to see some of the elders in Progreso my old area and they told me that the converts are starting to work hard with the missionaries and help them get more people to teach and progress. I was super excited to here that! We are also teaching this new investigator and her dad and sister were baptized 20 years ago but she never accepted the gospel.
