What?

So this week has been kinda crazy Tuesday we got called to go to merida at night so we packed up and stayed with the zone leaders then we went to a multi zone conference and we got our smart phones and on wednesday after the multizone conference we had our meetings with the mission president, Thursday we had a funeral which took about all day, Friday there was the burial service, saturday a stake christmas party and Sunday the mission president came to our branch and we had a christmas devotional. It was really hard to find time to work in all of these activities but we are teaching an investigator that we have planned to be baptized on thursday but she isn´t ready for her baptism because she´s a little crazy and she still has some problems she needs to fix and overall need a little stronger testimony. We were trying to explain that we needed to postpone her baptism to teach her more and she just didn´t understand and was starting to get mad and it wasn´t going very well. We were trying to tell her she couldn´t be baptized yet and she was begging us the whole time to baptize her. Little weird huh usually we are the ones trying to baptize not postponing. We were trying to explain the repentance processes she said ´´ If I pray for forgiveness why do I need to talk to the people I affected can´t god forgive everyone.´´ I said ´´ If you rob a bank then ask for forgiveness and don´t return the money is it really forgiveness.´´ but she  doesn ́t understand examples very well and asked me ´´ You robbed a bank?´´ it ended up just being a big mess. I was praying that I could find something in the scriptures during my personal study to  help this investigator and I found the story of alma and the sons of mosiah. This part really stuck out to me- Mosiah 27:14  And again, the angel said: Behold, the Lord hath heard the prayers of his people, and also the prayers of his servant, Alma, who is thy father; for he has Prayed with much faith concerning thee that thou mightest be brought to the Knowledge of the truth; therefore, for this purpose have I come to convince thee of the power and authority of God, that the prayers of his servants might be answered according to their faith. So I prayed again for her and that I could find a way to explain the repentance process and I found this Mosiah 27:35-  And they traveled throughout all the land of Zarahemla, and among all the people who were under the reign of king Mosiah, zealously striving to repair all the injuries which they had done to the church, confessing all their sins, and publishing all the things which they had seen, and explaining the prophecies and the scriptures to all who desired to hear them. We can see that god really does answer our prayers I found just what I needed to share with her to explain a little more about the repentance process. Whenever we have problems we should always turn to the lord through prayer and the scriptures we can find an answer to all of our questions in the story of alma and mosiah Alma prays for help and receives it and I can testify that if you ever have a problem you can always look to god and he will always have an answer for you.
