Miracles in Maxcanú

Its been another great week here in maxcanú!! We have been working to reactivate the branch here so we have a branch activity every tuesday, english classes wednesday and play soccer fridays. We have been able to get a lot of less actives to come and recent converts. The work ́s rolling too we've found a few more people to teach and we had a bunch of investigators to church on sunday. The only problems is none of the people we are teaching that have a baptismal date could come but theres a lot of potential people who did come. On tuesday we went to Coauhila because they had some paint war thing going on where basically anyone who was in the street it was legal to throw paint at them haha. I was with one of my buddies from the MTC that was in my district and we put in work haha it was so awesome to see how much we have both changed and grown since we left the MTC. We found 2 new people and one of the two said she wanted to be baptized it was sweet. On wednesday we taught a family who is starting to progress and has come to church one time (2 counting yesterday) and they still don't have a date to be baptized but were able to find out why and we have planned to teach them today we will see what happens (pray for us that all goes well haha)!

On Friday we went on divisions with the district leader and his companion and his companion has a week in the mission so I went with him in our area it was awesome to work and teach him the ropes. The goal was to help him put his first baptismal date with a super awesome guy were teaching and we looked all day found someone who had some weird pig thing as a pet (the same type of pig as pumba in Lion King haha) she accepted us and we were able to help her with some of her questions. Then we taught our last lesson of the night the lesson we had planned to put the baptismal date and my companion was super nervous haha it was super funny but at the end of the lesson I gave him a wink and he invited the guy to be baptized and he accepted the guy is super awesome and so exited to be baptized to receive a remission of his sins. Baptism truly is so great through baptism we can be clean from sin AND RETURN BACK TO LIVE WITH GOD! Who wouldn't want to be baptized haha. I have seen such big changes in people who before weren't baptized and who now are and how much they change for the good. Francisco a kid we baptized a few weeks ago was always a trouble maker and his parents got to the point where they didn't even want him but we started teaching him and he got baptized and he changed completely now he's bringing his family to church and giving them the example. Dana and Nallibe always had educational problems because they didn't have enough money to pay to go to school and it was really hard for them to read the scriptures and understand them now are understanding the scriptures and with the help of some members are gonna go back to school after a few years and are preparing to enter with where they would be if they hadn't been taken out of school. It truly is awesome the miracle of baptism and the blessing we receive. But more important is that we keep going after baptism keep reading the scriptures, keep going to church, keep praying so that we can always have these blessing and not forget who has blessed us so much. We have to endure to the end and if we do god will keep blessing us, Theres always problems that come up but they`d be much worse without gods helping hand. My invitation to you all is that you all keep enduring to the end, so you never miss out on these great blessings!

Love you all and I Promised photos
