Saul!!!!

Whoaaaah this week was crazy for the first time in my whole mission I didn´t go to church. This corona virus must be crazy but luckily theres only one case of it here but the schools are all gonna close for 1 month. We cant shake hands with people in the streets its pretty crazy. The prophet wasn´t lying when he said that this next conference was going to be unforgettable. They also in the conference said that satan is going to work even harder and that we needed to have church centered in the home. It just goes to show that the prophet today still recieves revelation for us all. Revelation is so important because sometimes we don`t know how things are gonna go like the corona virus but the lord sure does so we should include him in every decision we make. 


MY MAN SAUL GOT BAPTIZED!!!!!!! This guy is a beast and #MB (Mission bound!) Not even the corona virus can stop him from getting baptized!!! Super cool story with him: about a month ago we left the house and when you leave the house you always gotta leave with a prayer and in the prayer I asked that the lord would guide us to someone new to teach that would be prepared to here this message. It came to be 8:30 like 4 appointments fell through and so we were walking home when it came to my mind that we still needed to find someone so we felt like we should contact this house and nobody was home but as we were leaving saul showed up in a car and hoped on out. We asked if we could share something with him and he said that he was having problems and waiting for someone like us to find him and saturday he was baptized and confirmed. The other day he told me that he`d like to go on a mission!!!!! Super cool story just goes to show when we follow the spirit and are diligent the lord will bless us!!!!!!!

finally my first pday

I don´t even know where to start haha. I got off the plane last tuesday with about 30 other missionaries, and half of them were going to my mission. We took a bus to the mtc and I got to know everyone going to my district and I liked most of them but there was one kid who I didn't want to have as a companion because we had nothing in common. I like to play sports he liked to read books, I like to be outside, he likes to read books haha. But of course we got assigned to be companions and I had kind of a bad attitude about it for my first 2 days and those were the longest two days ive ever had. I prayed that I could come to love my companion and that day we listened to a talk by elder gong and he was talking about the importance of having a good relationship with your companion. He said to stop focusing on the things you didn't like about your companion and to focus on the things your companion was good at and since then its been great. It is great to be back

How is everyone doing? I know it's been a while but for all of those who didn't know I have been reassigned from merida mexico, to independence Missouri! I have 2 new companions (so were in a trio) and we are in the blue springs area (Kansas city)! It has been pretty different teaching over the phone and in english but it is still awesome! We have been teaching a lot of members and looking for a lot of new investigators, we have just been making phone call after phone call and looking for people to teach through Facebook! It has been super awesome and I have been able to find a few spanish speakers that seem pretty interested. Missouri is so pretty everything is so green and there's grass and lakes everywhere! Were right by the Missouri river too and that's pretty huge haha. My new companions are Elder Clements and Elder Thiriot and there both pretty awesome! The work keeps rolling

How is everyone doing? Hope good, everything is going good here in maxcanú were working hard and finding new people to teach! We have quite a bit of people progressing were hoping to baptize a few more here in Maxcanú. We have a baptism coming up this week for saul! I was talking to him and hes going to turn 17 this week and I asked him what are you gonna do when you turn 18 and he told me he wants to go on the mission. I was super pumped haha because he still hasn't even been baptized yet super awesome. We also had a multizone and I got to see some of the elders in Progreso my old area and they told me that the converts are starting to work hard with the missionaries and help them get more people to teach and progress. I was super excited to here that! We are also teaching this new investigator and her dad and sister were baptized 20 years ago but she never accepted the gospel.
