Exchanges, transfers, Putting in work

This has been a super good week starting monday last week we were shopping found a guy named lynn, he works at Walmart. We were able to teach him about the restoration of the church and how the authority has been passed down straight from God. He really liked it and committed to reading the Book of Mormon and wants to get baptized August 22nd! We also found a guy named Miles he was a self referral we sent him a text and he was asking for a BOM so we asked him when and he said RIGHT NOW!!! So I put that car in drive and we went to his house taught him about the Book of Mormon and he said he wants to read the entire thing before we see him again tomorrow! Were finding a ton out here our district is passing most zones in Facebook finding. We are also teaching a guy named Joshua he told us at church sunday he wants to get baptized soon but in order to do that he needs to quit smoking. Li is still on date she cancelled last week but hopefully we will set up a good lesson tuesday with her. Our district is super awesome and we have big plans for the following transfer! Elder Nelson was able to set up 3 video call lessons this week which was awesome. Hoping to see a lot more results this week. We also went on exchanges and Elder James and I put in some work! It was super fun we set up like 3 investigator lessons and were able to commit a lot of people to church! The work keeps rolling hopefully we continue to see miracles. Sorry this isn't much of a good email but next week I promise a super good one.

finally my first pday

I don´t even know where to start haha. I got off the plane last tuesday with about 30 other missionaries, and half of them were going to my mission. We took a bus to the mtc and I got to know everyone going to my district and I liked most of them but there was one kid who I didn't want to have as a companion because we had nothing in common. I like to play sports he liked to read books, I like to be outside, he likes to read books haha. But of course we got assigned to be companions and I had kind of a bad attitude about it for my first 2 days and those were the longest two days ive ever had. I prayed that I could come to love my companion and that day we listened to a talk by elder gong and he was talking about the importance of having a good relationship with your companion. He said to stop focusing on the things you didn't like about your companion and to focus on the things your companion was good at and since then its been great. It is great to be back

How is everyone doing? I know it's been a while but for all of those who didn't know I have been reassigned from merida mexico, to independence Missouri! I have 2 new companions (so were in a trio) and we are in the blue springs area (Kansas city)! It has been pretty different teaching over the phone and in english but it is still awesome! We have been teaching a lot of members and looking for a lot of new investigators, we have just been making phone call after phone call and looking for people to teach through Facebook! It has been super awesome and I have been able to find a few spanish speakers that seem pretty interested. Missouri is so pretty everything is so green and there's grass and lakes everywhere! Were right by the Missouri river too and that's pretty huge haha. My new companions are Elder Clements and Elder Thiriot and there both pretty awesome! The work keeps rolling

How is everyone doing? Hope good, everything is going good here in maxcanú were working hard and finding new people to teach! We have quite a bit of people progressing were hoping to baptize a few more here in Maxcanú. We have a baptism coming up this week for saul! I was talking to him and hes going to turn 17 this week and I asked him what are you gonna do when you turn 18 and he told me he wants to go on the mission. I was super pumped haha because he still hasn't even been baptized yet super awesome. We also had a multizone and I got to see some of the elders in Progreso my old area and they told me that the converts are starting to work hard with the missionaries and help them get more people to teach and progress. I was super excited to here that! We are also teaching this new investigator and her dad and sister were baptized 20 years ago but she never accepted the gospel.
