Li, Joshua, and I will hit the 1 year mark MTC GANG

This week was a stellar week, we were able to find a lot more people from our area to teach and they seem very interested in the gospel! Elder Nelson is finishing his first transfer in training it has been a great time and I have learned a ton being able to train him! We found Li This week she is from China but lives here in Blue Springs Elder Nelson was talking to her on Facebook and set up a lesson over video call, she didn't have much of a religious background but we asked her if she had a bible and she looked around her house and said here it is! Pulls out a Book of Mormon in Chinese it was super crazy then she had a lot of questions like how can I know if God is real so we just bore our testimonies and she felt the spirit hit her hard! So I gave Elder Nelson a knee tap and he invited her to be baptized! She accepted for August 15th!!!!!! She is a nurse and works at 2 hospitals so it's going to be hard to teach her everything and go to church but she said she will try her best! We also called an old investigator Tuesday and he has set up a meeting with our bishop by himself and was on his way to the church when we called him! We were lead by the spirit to call him just at the right time, he said that he wanted to come back to church again and read his scriptures daily, he's already been taught everything! He committed to come to church for 4 weeks and read a chapter a day at least in the scriptures and pray over all of his food! We taught him yesterday and he seems like a pretty good guy. He just bought a suit to go to church and look good at church, he couldn't find any shoes though so if anyone has some size 15 church shoes lmk haha! We were also able to find a few more people through Facebook and we are set up to find a lot more this week! We have been blessed so much to be able to continue working even through the Corona virus and we have been blessed with a new way to work! We are able to find people who would have never been able to find the gospel except through facebook!


I am also going to hit my year mark this week July 23 it's been a very unexpected journey I never thought I'd be where I am now a year ago, (Spiritually and physically haha) it has been a great journey! I can promise all of you without a doubt the Book of Mormon is true that there is no better way to prepare ourselves to meet God other than this book! I know that Prophet Russell M. Nelson was called of God and leads the church through revelation example (2019 Come Follow Me- Home centered church program) I know that God does answer our prayers, and he loves us and that we can return to live with Him. finally my first pday

I don´t even know where to start haha. I got off the plane last tuesday with about 30 other missionaries, and half of them were going to my mission. We took a bus to the mtc and I got to know everyone going to my district and I liked most of them but there was one kid who I didn't want to have as a companion because we had nothing in common. I like to play sports he liked to read books, I like to be outside, he likes to read books haha. But of course we got assigned to be companions and I had kind of a bad attitude about it for my first 2 days and those were the longest two days ive ever had. I prayed that I could come to love my companion and that day we listened to a talk by elder gong and he was talking about the importance of having a good relationship with your companion. He said to stop focusing on the things you didn't like about your companion and to focus on the things your companion was good at and since then its been great. It is great to be back

How is everyone doing? I know it's been a while but for all of those who didn't know I have been reassigned from merida mexico, to independence Missouri! I have 2 new companions (so were in a trio) and we are in the blue springs area (Kansas city)! It has been pretty different teaching over the phone and in english but it is still awesome! We have been teaching a lot of members and looking for a lot of new investigators, we have just been making phone call after phone call and looking for people to teach through Facebook! It has been super awesome and I have been able to find a few spanish speakers that seem pretty interested. Missouri is so pretty everything is so green and there's grass and lakes everywhere! Were right by the Missouri river too and that's pretty huge haha. My new companions are Elder Clements and Elder Thiriot and there both pretty awesome! The work keeps rolling

How is everyone doing? Hope good, everything is going good here in maxcanú were working hard and finding new people to teach! We have quite a bit of people progressing were hoping to baptize a few more here in Maxcanú. We have a baptism coming up this week for saul! I was talking to him and hes going to turn 17 this week and I asked him what are you gonna do when you turn 18 and he told me he wants to go on the mission. I was super pumped haha because he still hasn't even been baptized yet super awesome. We also had a multizone and I got to see some of the elders in Progreso my old area and they told me that the converts are starting to work hard with the missionaries and help them get more people to teach and progress. I was super excited to here that! We are also teaching this new investigator and her dad and sister were baptized 20 years ago but she never accepted the gospel.
