Another great week

This has been a super good/successful week! Were teaching this kid Miles who is absolutely crazy (because of drugs) first he thought he was Jesus then we got him off the main drugs he was taking and then he thought he was a prophet in the Book of Mormon. We told him there was no way haha but he then proceeded to tell us he was reincarnated but we reassured him that he wasn't haha! But when we went to his house his step dad was there and we gave him and his step dad a church invite they couldn't reject and he ended up inviting his mother, girlfriend and other friend! His mom and step dad along with miles all came to church and seemed to like it later that day when we went to their house and taught them about the BOM and hopefully we can help them all quit smoking so they can join the church! 

Joshua also came to church and we have taught him all the lessons and can get baptized as soon as he can stop smoking but his anxiety is really bad! Were working with him though and when he has panic attacks he always calls us and we have to play with him haha ok I love it and I'm getting my shot back! Yesterday we went to see a bunch of Spanish speakers in our area and we set up a ton of appointments for example we are teaching Gregorio and Celia and their family of like 20 no joke its huge!!! They're from Oaxaca, and hopefully we will be able to prepare them so we can pass them off to the other missionaries!

finally my first pday

I don´t even know where to start haha. I got off the plane last tuesday with about 30 other missionaries, and half of them were going to my mission. We took a bus to the mtc and I got to know everyone going to my district and I liked most of them but there was one kid who I didn't want to have as a companion because we had nothing in common. I like to play sports he liked to read books, I like to be outside, he likes to read books haha. But of course we got assigned to be companions and I had kind of a bad attitude about it for my first 2 days and those were the longest two days ive ever had. I prayed that I could come to love my companion and that day we listened to a talk by elder gong and he was talking about the importance of having a good relationship with your companion. He said to stop focusing on the things you didn't like about your companion and to focus on the things your companion was good at and since then its been great. It is great to be back

How is everyone doing? I know it's been a while but for all of those who didn't know I have been reassigned from merida mexico, to independence Missouri! I have 2 new companions (so were in a trio) and we are in the blue springs area (Kansas city)! It has been pretty different teaching over the phone and in english but it is still awesome! We have been teaching a lot of members and looking for a lot of new investigators, we have just been making phone call after phone call and looking for people to teach through Facebook! It has been super awesome and I have been able to find a few spanish speakers that seem pretty interested. Missouri is so pretty everything is so green and there's grass and lakes everywhere! Were right by the Missouri river too and that's pretty huge haha. My new companions are Elder Clements and Elder Thiriot and there both pretty awesome! The work keeps rolling

How is everyone doing? Hope good, everything is going good here in maxcanú were working hard and finding new people to teach! We have quite a bit of people progressing were hoping to baptize a few more here in Maxcanú. We have a baptism coming up this week for saul! I was talking to him and hes going to turn 17 this week and I asked him what are you gonna do when you turn 18 and he told me he wants to go on the mission. I was super pumped haha because he still hasn't even been baptized yet super awesome. We also had a multizone and I got to see some of the elders in Progreso my old area and they told me that the converts are starting to work hard with the missionaries and help them get more people to teach and progress. I was super excited to here that! We are also teaching this new investigator and her dad and sister were baptized 20 years ago but she never accepted the gospel.
