Gone fishin...

Super fun week with some funny stuff. (I think its funny at least)
1. We started teaching this family in the ward about the spirit and all the kids understood what the spirit was except for this 3 year old little girl haha and we saw her shirt and it was a frozen shirt so if any of you have seen the new one Elsa starts hearing voices telling her to go and leading her through the unknown. So that's how we explained it and by the end I think she understood better than anyone else in the family haha! 

2. We were building a fence and there's a lot of mosquitoes out there so the girl brought out some doterra torches that makes smoke to get rid of them. Elder Nelson and I stayed in the smoke the entire time and we were getting eaten alive and the Elders not in the smoke had none, so all the faith I had in doterra is gone! Not sure I'll ever be using those FAKE oils again.

3. Wednesday we had set a goal to find 2 new people and it was 8:30 and we still hadn't found anyone. I was prompted that we still needed to find 2 people so we called the first person that came to mind and they answered and we taught them! Then we called the second person to come to mind and they answered and we were able to but our goal!!

4. We are still seeing miracles every day and I feel like each day just gets better and better! We had an awesome member show us a way to try and Facebook find and the first time we did it we found KEKE and were able to have a fun bible study with her over the phone! Hopefully it continues to work this week! Were also gonna teach some english classes again so I'm excited!

5. I got to run my first district council and I feel as though it went pretty good I got everyone hyped up to set goals and find new people on Facebook. We have been setting the mission high on finding new people as of late so I'm super excited to see what we accomplish!

finally my first pday

I don´t even know where to start haha. I got off the plane last tuesday with about 30 other missionaries, and half of them were going to my mission. We took a bus to the mtc and I got to know everyone going to my district and I liked most of them but there was one kid who I didn't want to have as a companion because we had nothing in common. I like to play sports he liked to read books, I like to be outside, he likes to read books haha. But of course we got assigned to be companions and I had kind of a bad attitude about it for my first 2 days and those were the longest two days ive ever had. I prayed that I could come to love my companion and that day we listened to a talk by elder gong and he was talking about the importance of having a good relationship with your companion. He said to stop focusing on the things you didn't like about your companion and to focus on the things your companion was good at and since then its been great. It is great to be back

How is everyone doing? I know it's been a while but for all of those who didn't know I have been reassigned from merida mexico, to independence Missouri! I have 2 new companions (so were in a trio) and we are in the blue springs area (Kansas city)! It has been pretty different teaching over the phone and in english but it is still awesome! We have been teaching a lot of members and looking for a lot of new investigators, we have just been making phone call after phone call and looking for people to teach through Facebook! It has been super awesome and I have been able to find a few spanish speakers that seem pretty interested. Missouri is so pretty everything is so green and there's grass and lakes everywhere! Were right by the Missouri river too and that's pretty huge haha. My new companions are Elder Clements and Elder Thiriot and there both pretty awesome! The work keeps rolling

How is everyone doing? Hope good, everything is going good here in maxcanú were working hard and finding new people to teach! We have quite a bit of people progressing were hoping to baptize a few more here in Maxcanú. We have a baptism coming up this week for saul! I was talking to him and hes going to turn 17 this week and I asked him what are you gonna do when you turn 18 and he told me he wants to go on the mission. I was super pumped haha because he still hasn't even been baptized yet super awesome. We also had a multizone and I got to see some of the elders in Progreso my old area and they told me that the converts are starting to work hard with the missionaries and help them get more people to teach and progress. I was super excited to here that! We are also teaching this new investigator and her dad and sister were baptized 20 years ago but she never accepted the gospel.
