🚨Woop Woop🚨

 Let's just say we had a little police incident this week but it wasn't me this time thankfully! Yesterday we go over to teach miles and we turn on to his street and theres 4 policemen with all of their lights on and I joke over to Elder Nelson "its Miles!" Then we drive past and it turned out to be Miles, haha pretty nuts. Luckily we got him off of drugs so there was no issue but he did have expired plates. Miles hasn't been making to much progress he doesn't really smoke anymore but has other problems we are working with but he keeps giving us new people to teach, in total now 6 people found through Miles. It's been pretty crazy everytime we go to his house he has some new story but I still have faith. Our teaching pool is still really good, now we just need to continue to help people progress, Haley (the atheist) went to a church activity and seemed to like it and committed to go to church but then her dog decided to give birth so she wasn't able to make it, but there is hope for next week🤞 


A lot of people we are teaching have lots of struggles in their life and a lot of them came from poor decision making. A lot of it has come from just picking bad friends. I think it's super important that we surround ourselves with good people, if we don't surround ourselves with good people we aren't going to be able to progress ourselves. Hopefully you all surround yourselves with good people. Also I really liked the scripture Jarom 1:11 " 11 Wherefore, the prophets, and the priests, and the teachers, did labor diligently, exhorting with all long-suffering the people to diligence; teaching the law of Moses, and the intent for which it was given; persuading them to look forward unto the Messiah, and believe in him to come as though he already was. And after this manner did they teach them." This really stuck out to me because the people had to exercise faith in Jesus as if he had already come and they received the blessings for it. The lord has promised us many blessings as long as we are obedient we can receive them. We need to look forward with faith and as we do so we will be blessed.

finally my first pday

I don´t even know where to start haha. I got off the plane last tuesday with about 30 other missionaries, and half of them were going to my mission. We took a bus to the mtc and I got to know everyone going to my district and I liked most of them but there was one kid who I didn't want to have as a companion because we had nothing in common. I like to play sports he liked to read books, I like to be outside, he likes to read books haha. But of course we got assigned to be companions and I had kind of a bad attitude about it for my first 2 days and those were the longest two days ive ever had. I prayed that I could come to love my companion and that day we listened to a talk by elder gong and he was talking about the importance of having a good relationship with your companion. He said to stop focusing on the things you didn't like about your companion and to focus on the things your companion was good at and since then its been great. It is great to be back

How is everyone doing? I know it's been a while but for all of those who didn't know I have been reassigned from merida mexico, to independence Missouri! I have 2 new companions (so were in a trio) and we are in the blue springs area (Kansas city)! It has been pretty different teaching over the phone and in english but it is still awesome! We have been teaching a lot of members and looking for a lot of new investigators, we have just been making phone call after phone call and looking for people to teach through Facebook! It has been super awesome and I have been able to find a few spanish speakers that seem pretty interested. Missouri is so pretty everything is so green and there's grass and lakes everywhere! Were right by the Missouri river too and that's pretty huge haha. My new companions are Elder Clements and Elder Thiriot and there both pretty awesome! The work keeps rolling

How is everyone doing? Hope good, everything is going good here in maxcanú were working hard and finding new people to teach! We have quite a bit of people progressing were hoping to baptize a few more here in Maxcanú. We have a baptism coming up this week for saul! I was talking to him and hes going to turn 17 this week and I asked him what are you gonna do when you turn 18 and he told me he wants to go on the mission. I was super pumped haha because he still hasn't even been baptized yet super awesome. We also had a multizone and I got to see some of the elders in Progreso my old area and they told me that the converts are starting to work hard with the missionaries and help them get more people to teach and progress. I was super excited to here that! We are also teaching this new investigator and her dad and sister were baptized 20 years ago but she never accepted the gospel.
