Pickle ball Miracles and CRAZY WEEK

This week was crazy kind of like this email it's all over the place but, Saturday was DOPE! We have been trying to come up with more creative ways to find and teach and we've been playing pickleball every morning except for today because it snowed😭 but we invited a couple tournament pickleball players to play with us. After playing with them they were trying to recruit me to be their new tournament partner haha! We played with them for an hour or so and me and my boy Louie were putting in some work! It was a ton of fun and I came to find out that they have a friend who is a member of the church and they have been before! Also Louie speaks Spanish and is a baller! After we finished playing pickleball we gave them a book of Mormon and read Helamen 5:12 and it hyped them up a ton! Then we read Moroni 10:4-5 and they were super hyped to read the book of Mormon and find out more about it! So we are going to play on Wednesday and teach them some more! Coolest part of the story I show up with some cheap wood paddles and Louie has those nice 60 dollar paddles and is like oh you can play with those if you want! Then at the end of the day he let Elder Gilbert and I keep them it was so dope!!!!

So last week was kind of a crazy week and it's only getting crazier! So opening a new zone and all we didn't have much missionary work getting done, we were the worst zone in every category in the mission haha. So we decided we gotta start finding! So Elder Gilbert and I started just finding like crazy in our area and got things rolling! Then Thursday I went on exchange to one of the other Elders areas and all I had in mind was Find Find Find, and we found 7 in one day! It was super crazy! Then Saturday we went to another elders area with the same objective and we were able to help them find 5! Our zone blew up with finding and we went from worst to best in finding which I think is pretty awesome! From last week as a zone we found 5x more people found than the week before! Our missionaries are hyped and we are just going to try and keep the wheel turning! We also went on exchange with the APS this week it wasn't very eventful haha we basically just showed them some finding ways and it wasn't super crazy!

Sadly on Sunday about half of our teaching pool didn't answer the phone when we went to call them so hopefully all is well with them! But I cant complain the Lord has blessed us so much for our prayerful and diligent effort, we have been able to see so much success and it's been awesome. We found some really cool people this week from Facebook! One of them requested a bible and then later into the conversation I asked her why she wanted one and she responded why are you asking, then I said cause I wanted to know if you wanted to have a bible study with us. Then she sent a crying emoji đŸ˜ and told us how she had been praying to understand God more and how she wants to become a Christian! After that we taught her about the restoration and she felt the spirit so strong! She wanted to get a bible and a Book of Mormon it was awesome! Then she told us how excited she was to learn more! Sadly she isn't in our area so we sent her to them but she is really cool! Another we found in a post she made asking for some dog medication or something to help her dog with its issues! So we called her up and said we dont have any dog medication but we can pray for it she was very accepting of the prayer and said we could share a message with her! So we talked about the restoration and after we had talked about the first vision and Joseph Smith she was in tears! It was super awesome and we made plans to give her a Book of Mormon, hopefully it works out! The work keeps rolling and it's not always easy but I love it and I'm learning so much!

This week we will have some more exchanges with missionaries, we will also have Mission Leadership Council which I think will be pretty awesome! Hopefully we have another good week! Continue to keep us in your prayers! The mission is great and it sure is awesome! A scripture I loved this week was in Moses 7:13 And so great was the faith of Enoch that he led the people of God, and their enemies came to battle against them; and he spake the word of the Lord, and the earth trembled, and the mountains fled, even according to his command; and the rivers of water were turned out of their course; and the roar of the lions was heard out of the wilderness; and all nations feared greatly, so powerful was the word of Enoch, and so great was the power of the language which God had given him. - The city if Enoch was referenced a lot in conference and I think we all need to strive to be as faithful as Enoch and if we are we can bring about mighty miracles like Enoch did! This is already too long I'll stop now but I love you all and I hope you all have a good week!
