Transfer News

 President just called and I guess I'm going to be opening a new zone as zone leader in Liberty its gonna be crazy but I'm excited to see what happens and Elder Nelson will be leaving😭 sad but I'm excited to see what the lord has in store. There going to put the zone leaders in our area as well!


This week sure was a crazy one we got to go on exchange with one of the AP's, I asked him why they were coming here and they said they wanted to learn how we were doing missionary work so well! That was pretty awesome now they text me every once in a while and ask me stuff its pretty cool. We sent like 5 referrals this week to other missionaries, the work keeps going! We are working on something called a Family Mission Plan and our members are awesome 2 of them invited their friends to church and meet with us so far and 1 actually came so that was awesome! I went on exchange with the zone leaders as well we were teaching one of their investigators how to play spikeball and right after we finished we started teaching her and put her on DATE! It was pretty awesome hopefully she follows through! We have been having a lot of success here in Blue Springs! Transfers are this week and I'm expecting a lot of change but we will see? 

Something I liked from my personal study is the scripture: 1st Nephi 15:11 Do ye not remember the things which the Lord hath said?—If ye will not harden your hearts, and ask me in faith, believing that ye shall receive, with diligence in keeping my commandments, surely these things shall be made known unto you. - I like it because it explains one of the best ways we can receive revelation and the prophet said in the days to come it will get even harder to stay strong in the faith so we need to be receiving revelation daily! I promise you all that the Book of Mormon is true and that if we read it prayerfully daily we will make better decisions daily!

finally my first pday

I don´t even know where to start haha. I got off the plane last tuesday with about 30 other missionaries, and half of them were going to my mission. We took a bus to the mtc and I got to know everyone going to my district and I liked most of them but there was one kid who I didn't want to have as a companion because we had nothing in common. I like to play sports he liked to read books, I like to be outside, he likes to read books haha. But of course we got assigned to be companions and I had kind of a bad attitude about it for my first 2 days and those were the longest two days ive ever had. I prayed that I could come to love my companion and that day we listened to a talk by elder gong and he was talking about the importance of having a good relationship with your companion. He said to stop focusing on the things you didn't like about your companion and to focus on the things your companion was good at and since then its been great. It is great to be back

How is everyone doing? I know it's been a while but for all of those who didn't know I have been reassigned from merida mexico, to independence Missouri! I have 2 new companions (so were in a trio) and we are in the blue springs area (Kansas city)! It has been pretty different teaching over the phone and in english but it is still awesome! We have been teaching a lot of members and looking for a lot of new investigators, we have just been making phone call after phone call and looking for people to teach through Facebook! It has been super awesome and I have been able to find a few spanish speakers that seem pretty interested. Missouri is so pretty everything is so green and there's grass and lakes everywhere! Were right by the Missouri river too and that's pretty huge haha. My new companions are Elder Clements and Elder Thiriot and there both pretty awesome! The work keeps rolling

How is everyone doing? Hope good, everything is going good here in maxcanĂș were working hard and finding new people to teach! We have quite a bit of people progressing were hoping to baptize a few more here in MaxcanĂș. We have a baptism coming up this week for saul! I was talking to him and hes going to turn 17 this week and I asked him what are you gonna do when you turn 18 and he told me he wants to go on the mission. I was super pumped haha because he still hasn't even been baptized yet super awesome. We also had a multizone and I got to see some of the elders in Progreso my old area and they told me that the converts are starting to work hard with the missionaries and help them get more people to teach and progress. I was super excited to here that! We are also teaching this new investigator and her dad and sister were baptized 20 years ago but she never accepted the gospel.
