Wow this week has flown by, it has been pretty crazy but another great week, some highlights from the week. 1. We had a ton of success Facebook finding! Many lost souls have been found! 2. Shanta and her daughter are still preparing for baptism, might just have to delay their date a little. 3. I went on exchange in Lee's Summit and gave their district a huge boost, and hyped them up a ton! 


I was able to come up with some good new ideas and lets just say that they are working! So Thursday came around and we had district council, I was going to be going on exchange with a different district leader and help them boost their area. Basically they told me to just find people to teach, so we started Facebook finding, the day was pretty slow but we found someone and then 9pm rolled around and we had only found 1 but then people started responding and we set up 3 phone calls between 9-10 and were able to find 3 more! Then the next morning we found 1 more before the exchange started it was super cool/crazy! Lots of cool guys over in Lee's Summit. Saturday was pretty cool we got to make 80 bunk beds with a bunch of people, it was pretty great! The weeks are just passing by too quick, I need to take better notes! 

Something I liked this week: Alma 26:22 "Yea, he that repenteth and exerciseth faith, and bringeth forth good works, and prayeth continually without ceasing—unto such it is given to know the mysteries of God; yea, unto such it shall be given to reveal things which never have been revealed; yea, and it shall be given unto such to bring thousands of souls to repentance, even as it has been given unto us to bring these our brethren to repentance." - I really liked this because it talks about a couple of ways we can receive revelation to know the secrets of God. It is super important that we are receiving revelation daily the world is getting harder and more corrupt so we need to prepare ourselves by receiving revelation daily! I know the only reason I am having any success on the mission is from revelation, I have had a lot of experiences these past couple weeks where I just feel like I need to text someone or call someone and they just accept us, it is crazy! Everyone here is saying I'm nuts but it's only because of the spirit!

finally my first pday

I don´t even know where to start haha. I got off the plane last tuesday with about 30 other missionaries, and half of them were going to my mission. We took a bus to the mtc and I got to know everyone going to my district and I liked most of them but there was one kid who I didn't want to have as a companion because we had nothing in common. I like to play sports he liked to read books, I like to be outside, he likes to read books haha. But of course we got assigned to be companions and I had kind of a bad attitude about it for my first 2 days and those were the longest two days ive ever had. I prayed that I could come to love my companion and that day we listened to a talk by elder gong and he was talking about the importance of having a good relationship with your companion. He said to stop focusing on the things you didn't like about your companion and to focus on the things your companion was good at and since then its been great. It is great to be back

How is everyone doing? I know it's been a while but for all of those who didn't know I have been reassigned from merida mexico, to independence Missouri! I have 2 new companions (so were in a trio) and we are in the blue springs area (Kansas city)! It has been pretty different teaching over the phone and in english but it is still awesome! We have been teaching a lot of members and looking for a lot of new investigators, we have just been making phone call after phone call and looking for people to teach through Facebook! It has been super awesome and I have been able to find a few spanish speakers that seem pretty interested. Missouri is so pretty everything is so green and there's grass and lakes everywhere! Were right by the Missouri river too and that's pretty huge haha. My new companions are Elder Clements and Elder Thiriot and there both pretty awesome! The work keeps rolling

How is everyone doing? Hope good, everything is going good here in maxcanú were working hard and finding new people to teach! We have quite a bit of people progressing were hoping to baptize a few more here in Maxcanú. We have a baptism coming up this week for saul! I was talking to him and hes going to turn 17 this week and I asked him what are you gonna do when you turn 18 and he told me he wants to go on the mission. I was super pumped haha because he still hasn't even been baptized yet super awesome. We also had a multizone and I got to see some of the elders in Progreso my old area and they told me that the converts are starting to work hard with the missionaries and help them get more people to teach and progress. I was super excited to here that! We are also teaching this new investigator and her dad and sister were baptized 20 years ago but she never accepted the gospel.
